Similar to the flat base, this version has an added counterweight behind the upright post for additional stability for use with heavier devices or situations where a longer or taller arm is required. This version still fits under restricted spaces and includes the base adaptor for use with a removable post.
When in use the arm of the floorstand should always point down the centre of the base, not positioned out to the sides. If it is necessary to move the arm out to the side for short periods any attached device must first be removed.
NOTE: The Flat Base Floorstands are intended to be left in situ most of the time, not regularly moved or lifted. The Flat Base with Counterweight weighs 15.1kg. If the Floorstand is to be moved regularly please see the version with castors.
